Buses in Cambodia

The road network has improved considerably over the years. Fast, safe and economical, the bus is the most popular mode of transport to travel between cities in Cambodia.

The price of a ticket depends on distance and comfort :

Bus station

In Phnom Penh, there is no centralized bus station today. They are located in various parts of the capital (around the central market, near Sisowath Quay, in front of the office of the agency ...).
In the provinces, buses will meet at a common bus station.

Visa

If you plan to travel to neighboring countries, a valid visa may be required prior to entry (especially Vietnam).

Other informations

A break of half hour is also planned during the trip. Some companies will ask you to change buses during the trip (Kampong Cham ....) or when crossing borders with neighboring countries.
The General Conditions of Carriage provide that luggage are accepted at the standard size and weight. Else you have to pay extra.
The journey time depends on weather conditions and traffic.
